Morton Grove Park District celebrates over ten years of race tradition, the 2017 Race to the Taste 5K presented by MGPD, will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017.
The 2017 Race to the Taste 5K benefits the MGPD Financial Assistance Program.
The event features a scenic course that runs through the rolling residential streets of Morton Grove. Racers compete in the traditional 5-mile course. The route is USATF-certified. Race to the Taste information and online registration is now available at mortongroveparks.com/race/. Register by August 31 and save.
The 2017 Race to the Taste 5K provides a great opportunity for racers to warm up for the upcoming Chicago Marathon or to finish out the racing season before the cold weather arrives. All participants receive a race t-shirt, running bib with timing chip and entry to post race refreshments. There will be awards for both the male and female age divisions for the top three finishers. 5K award for the 1st overall male and female finishers.

New this year! Following the race will be special races for the young ones!
Ages 3-6: 50-yard dash, start time 9:30 am.
Ages 6-10: 100-yard dash, start time 9:45 am
