mgadultsportssoftballleague There are summer and fall seasons available for softball teams. Softball leagues include Men’s 12″, Men’s 16″ and Co-Rec 14″ Softball. The summer season typically begins in May and runs through the middle of August depending upon the number of registered teams. The fall season typically begins the middle of August and runs through the middle of October.

mgadultsportsbasketballleagueThere are multiple seasons available for basketball teams. Length of each season will be dependent on the number of teams registered in each league. The winter season typically begins in December and runs through the first week in April. The summer season typically begins in June and runs through the second week in August. The fall season typically begins at the end of August and runs through the middle of November.

There are Summer Volleyball Leagues available. Sand Volleyball leagues include a Wednesday night Co-Rec league. The summer season typically begins in early June and runs through the middle of August dependant upon number of registered teams. We also have Open Gym volleyball on certain weekday evenings throughout the year.

Tennis lessons occur year round. The summer tennis classes are held at the Prairie View Community Center’s tennis courts. The winter, spring and fall tennis classes are run in conjunction with the Skokie Park District’s tennis program. Participants may register at the resident rate for the winter, spring and fall classes through the Skokie Park District.

Karate lessons occur year round! All classes are taught by instructors of the Illinois Shotokan Karate Club under the direction of John DiPasquale, four-time National Champion, U.S. Karate National Coach and former National Faculty Member of ASEP (American Sport Education Program).
