Concerts in the Park
We are kicking off the summer season with the concert series. Concerts are held on Tuesdays.
Food service begins at 6:00 pm. Concerts begin at 7:00 pm.
Bring your lawn chair and blankets and enjoy an evening of live music summer fun for the entire family.
Food and drink are available for purchase.
Tuesday, June 14 | Bill Brickey Band
The Bill Brickey Band is a quartet of talented, top Chicago musicians focusing their efforts on creating that summer vibe with a mix of R&B/Soul, Funk, and Pop tunes.
Tuesday, June 21 | Mixtape Junkies
Mixtape Junkies plays “80’s Mixtape Music” – energetic tunes that will make you say, “Oh, Yeah! I LOVE that song!” Playing songs from bands such as The Cars, Cheap Trick, Tom Petty, and Tears for Fears.
Tuesday, June 28 | Outcast Jazz Band
Classic Big Band sounds from the ’30s-’50s with a smattering of Van Morrison, Paul Simon, and Ray Charles! OJB is a 17-piece band sporting five saxophones, four trombones, four trumpets, a whole rhythm section, and several vocalists.
Tuesday, July 12 | Grupo Cha Cha
The “Lovely Ladies of Latin Jazz” Grupo Cha Cha fills the air with tropical sounds of Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Brazil that delights the ears and gets you up to dance! Audiences always respond with enthusiasm to their live shows. Grupo Cha Cha CD’s can be heard on NPR and CBC stations.
Tuesday, July 19 | Cadillac Groove
There are sweet, good, and great grooves – then there’s the CADILLAC GROOVE. Jump into the purple Caddy for a fun ride through Southern Rock, Blues, R&B, Soul, and points in between. You’ll find yourself singing along as Cadillac Groove puts its unique, high-energy touch on the songs you know and love.
Tuesday, July 26 | Wild Daisy
Wild Daisy is THE most energetic, dynamic female-fronted country band in the Chicagoland area. The band plays current, upbeat country, with pop/rock thrown in. Wild Daisy has a reputation for delivering high-quality, family-friendly, crowd interactive, entertaining shows. Among their long list of past gigs, they opened for a country icon, Mark Chesnutt, and pre/post shows for Brad Paisley.
Tuesday, August 9 | The Wayouts
The Wayout band members share a love of 1960s garage rock by artists like The Kinks and The Animals. Their exuberant performance brings fresh life to classic songs, striking an equal balance between nostalgia and innovation, appealing to hipsters, grandparents, and soccer moms.
Tuesday, August 16 | Second Hand Soul Band
This energetic, dynamic, seven-piece band has many years of experience and knows how to entertain! Between the funky hits of the 70s, the one-hit wonders, the disco, and the soulful songs of that era that will move you to dance and sing “songs you remember from the nights you don’t!” Motown, soul, and rock & roll.

Celebrate Summer in the great outdoors. Make it a family night…
Grab a blanket and some snacks and enjoy a “night out” at the movies. Movies start at dusk.

Friday, August 19 | MOVIE: Sing 2
Theater owner Buster Moon sets his sights on producing a brand-new musical with his troupe in the glamorous Redshore City. To gain the support of a ruthless music mogul, he pitches that he’ll feature Clay Calloway, a legendary but elusive rock singer, as part of the show. Now, all the group needs to do is find the recluse and persuade him to perform with them.
Grab your dog and come on over to the park for Friday night Yappy Hour from 4:30-6:30 pm.
Staff will be putting out an agility course for your dogs to play on or just stop by and chat with other dog owners.

CHALK THE DECK! 12:00-3:00 pm at Harrer Pool or Oriole Aquatic Center
Head out to the pool and decorate the pool deck with chalk! Chalk will be provided only while supplies last.
Thursday, July 14 > 5:30 pm at Harrer Park (North end of Park)
The event will feature display cars, outdoor music, food, refreshments and local vendors. Stop by and check out all the cars.
ATTENTION Car Show Enthusiasts > Shine up your vintage or contemporary car, truck, hot rod, or motorcycle because it is time to show them off at Annual Classic Car Show held at Harrer Park.
