DESCRIPTION:The annual Light Up the Park will illuminate Harrer Park on the evening of December 5, marking the start of the holiday season and the much-awaited arrival of Santa. The air will be filled with joy and excitement as the community gathers for this festive event.\nOn December 5, from 5:00-7:00 pm, we will have marshmallows for roasting, family photo opp, free hot cocoa and cookies. During that time frame, Morton Grove dancers are performing, Morton Grove singers, librarian will read a story and essay winners will read their stories.The tree lighting ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 pm. Official Park Lighting will be held at 6:30 pm.\nPlease note: The tractor ride is cancelled for the evening due to heavy snow fall earlier this week.\nYou do not need to register for this event.\n
