Harrer Pool is located at 6250 Dempster Street. This family-friendly facility features a 50-meter main pool, deep pool with 1 and 3meter diving board, drop slide and climbing wall, plunge pool with two slides, tot pool with zero-depth entry, kiddie slide, and spray pad area.

Life Jacket Policy – Coast Guard approved life jackets are allowed to be worn by non-swimmers. Swimsuits with floatation devices inserted or attached are not permitted. Life jackets are not a substitute for adult supervision and children wearing a life jacket must always be within arm’s reach of a parent or guardian at all times. Life jackets may not be worn on slides or diving boards. All devices must be clearly labeled as Coast Guard Approved, must be in good condition, and must fit properly. Life jackets for borrow are available at the Lifeguard office at each pool.

YOUR SAFETY IS OUR BUSINESS – All Morton Grove Park District lifeguards are certified through Ellis & Associates, a leader in the aquatics industry. In accordance with the Ellis & Associates International Pool and Waterpark Lifeguard training program, our guards must complete a minimum of 28 hours of initial training.

2025 POOL RULES – Food brought from home can be enjoyed only in the concession area. Re-entry is available by getting your hand stamped before you leave. Children age 3+ must pay an admission fee.
Children under 12 years old must be supervised by a guardian at least 16 years of age

– Tight fitting rubber pants or Huggie-like Little Swimmers must be worn by infants and toddlers.
– No disposable diapers permitted.
– No picture taking on cameras/camera cell phones while in the pool facilities.
– Proof of residency must be shown to receive resident entry rates. Children must either have a parent escort them inside with a current driver’s license, or the child must show a Morton Grove Library Card to prove residency.
– All swimmers must wear a swimsuit with a liner. No athletic wear.

Pool rules and regulations are for the protection and benefit of all members.
Any failure to comply with these rules shall be considered sufficient cause for immediate suspension of pool privileges. 
Successive violations can be regarded as sufficient cause for cancellation of the family or individual membership.

Children will be held accountable for their behavior and will be asked to leave the water or the pool if necessary. Parents are asked to remind their children of the rules before they come to the pool and to remind their children to follow the pool rules.
