Before and After School Program
Keep your kids active and happy after school in Morton Grove Park District Before and Afterschool Programs! This program provides a safe and fun setting for kids before and after school. Activities include sports, games, arts & crafts, and homework time. Open to grades K-6.
School Day Off Program
The Park District offers childcare for days that schools are off for major holidays, Winter, and Spring Camps. Winter and Spring Camp dates are set according to the periods set by the majority of schools within the districts listed.
At School Day off, children will enjoy fun-filled day packed with games, sports, crafts and a field trip or in-house activity. There is an additional fee to participate in these programs and registration deadlines do apply. Please check your calendars and register early as these are popular programs that fill quickly. Payment
You can choose one of the following options for payment:
- Pay in full at the time of registration.
- Choose to enroll in our payment plan.
- A $100 deposit is required, and your remaining balance will be spread over 9 months period (September-May).
We accept ALL childcare subsidy payments. Financial Assistance is available for eligible Morton Grove Residents.

This program is offered as a quiet way to start your child’s school day. Activities include board games, cards, art & crafts and light sports activity. The program meets from 7:00 am until the 1st (all) school bell. A cereal breakfast is offered if the child arrives within the ½ hour of program dismissal.
The B-4 school program takes place at District #70 and District #67: Park View School and Hynes School
B.A.S.E. = Before After School Experience

The BASE program is an after-school childcare and enrichment program that is available to children in the schools listed below. The program runs from the end of the school day until 6:00 pm. The program creates a positive environment that allows children to freely express themselves in a safe and nurturing environment. Centers of activity include an assortment of physical activities, arts & crafts, dramatic, literary, math, and science centers. A snack and homework help is provided daily.

This program offers a Kindergarten enrichment and childcare program to stretch your child’s day to accommodate current ½ day program schedules. This program is designed to dovetail with either the B-4 school program or the BASE program depending on schedules and locations. The curriculum is appropriate for Kindergarten learning and includes special emphasis in a variety of areas including, reading, writing, mathematics, and science. Children should bring a lunch daily. Please note that this program is offered based on a minimum enrollment of 12 children and classes are limited to school classroom availability.
Location: District #70: Park View School, 8:20 am-12:20 pm or 11:15am-3:15 pm.
The Park District will offer extended day programs (until 6:00 pm) for most days that District 67 & District 70 schools offer an Early Release Program. Programs take place in the locations listed and require an additional fee to participate. The Early Release Program fee is not included in the regular BASE or B-4 School rates. Registration deadline is 2 days prior to the early release day.

GAP days take place at the Prairie View Community Center and take place from 7:00 am-6:00 pm. The majority of days include either a special event or a field trip. Children are engaged in a variety of recreational opportunities including gym/outside time, arts & crafts games, etc. There is an additional fee to participate in these programs and registration deadlines do apply. Please check your calendars and register early as these are popular programs that fill quickly.
