The Morton Grove Park District Dance Program provides high-quality dance instruction and recital opportunities. Our goal is to provide our students with a positive dance experience, in a fun, creative atmosphere.

Starbound Dance Company provides a creative, technical, and comprehensive training curriculum for young dancers who are committed to intensive dance training. Our dancers gain the opportunity to grow in all styles of contemporary dance, build creativity, artistry, and leadership skills during rehearsals, and perform in a variety of community settings. Through continued education and mentorship, Starbound dancers receive the tools to help make the world a better place through dance. Company participation is by audition only.

Morton Grove Park District runs a variety of dance classes during the school year. Dancers will receive training in technique and performance relevant to their selected style through weekly classes. Their progress and success will be showcased during our annual recital on Sunday, May 18, 2025. Classes are held at the Prairie View Community Center, 6834 Dempster Street, Morton Grove.
