National Park Grand Reopening

🛝 A brand-new playground
🧺 A new picnic shelter
⚾️ New ballfield fencing and dugouts
🐝 Two nature areas featuring pollinator gardens
🫗 Improved drainage throughout the park
🪑 Additional seating along the pathway
🚶 Enhanced walkways with low spots eliminated

This in addition to what we did last year – replacing the tennis, basketball, and roll hockey courts

National Park was revitalized as part of the 2025 Park Revitalization Project through funding provided by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) Grant Program. The project included significant improvements designed to enhance recreational opportunities, park amenities, and the overall visitor experience for the Morton Grove community.
