Morton Grove Park District Harrer Pool Referendum Passes
Thank you, voters! While the results are preliminary, it appears that the referendum to rebuild Harrer Pool has passed. Click here to view results.
The referendum’s success enables the Morton Grove Park District to move forward with the Harrer Pool project.
The Park District would like first to express its gratitude to the voters for supporting the Harrer Pool referendum. We would also like to extend a special thank you to each of those committed community members who took an active role in supporting the referendum, and to the many residents who attended our open houses to learn more. The vote demonstrates our residents’ continuing commitment to meet the recreational needs of our community and to maintain Morton Grove’s quality of life for generations to come. Your voices have been heard, and we are honored to deliver what matters most to you.
As responsible stewards of your tax dollars, the Harrer Pool project will begin immediately. The first step is to create finalized drawings. If all goes according to plan, the Park District anticipates breaking ground on the replacement pool in early fall of 2020, and to open to the public in summer 2021.
Updates will be posted as they become available
